Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Track project and release schedules, keeping Jira and Confluence updated

• Draft and refine user stories in collaboration with Product Management, Business Analyst and Engineering, and verify they are complete before work begins

• Attend meetings, and review recordings and summaries for sessions you cannot attend, to make sure commitments and details are captured in the backlog

• Identify open questions, dependencies, and risks early, and route them to the right subject matter expert or escalate to Product leadership

• Draft product and feature documentation for our clients, which our Technical Writer will ultimately review and publish

• Test and explore new features to document actual behavior, not just intended behavior

• Produce clear written status updates that let colleagues pick up context without a meeting

• Flex between documentation work and project coordination as team needs shift

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in project management, project coordination, or a similar delivery-focused role

• 2+ years writing, editing, or proofreading technical documentation, help content, or equivalent

• Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and explain them in plain, accurate language

• Outstanding written and verbal English, with the judgment to know how much context a reader needs

• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence, and comfort reviewing designs and specifications in Figma

• Proficiency with standard document and presentation tools

• Comfortable testing an End-User Portal and documenting functionality

• Good understanding of software development cycles and where they commonly break down

• Strong attention to detail, and persistence to chase unanswered questions until they’re answered

• Self-directed, curious, and comfortable asking clarifying questions of senior colleagues

• Interest in user experience and in how customers actually use the platform

• BS degree or equivalent practical experience

• Familiarity with VoIP, UCaaS, or telecommunications is a plus, not a requirement
